Ja nie potrafię tego obiektywnie ocenić。 Za bardzo uwielbiam bsd。(Aczkolwiek bawi mnie, że chuuya pojawił się, on i dazai mieli swoją gejowską scenę, a potem już nigdzie go nie widzieliśmy。)

What a heart wrenching end to one of the most well done spin-offs I’ve ever read。 I’ve loved every single book and wasn’t sure if I could be satisfied with only 4 books, but they wrapped everything up juuuuust enough to be satisfying but kept it loose enough that the world feels open。 The last third of the book was full of so many feels I couldn’t help but speed through, even when it was hard to see through my tears。

Oh my god, this book just blew my head off。 I read it right after the third book and I have so much to say with no way of truly putting it down。 The whole multiverse plot line (?) is so insane and beautifully written。 This connected me to the characters so much more than I thought it would。 Maybe this is the two year obsession with Bungo Stray Dogs talking, but this little spinoff series means the whole world to me。 The characters brought up in a vaguely familiar light but taught by lessons no c Oh my god, this book just blew my head off。 I read it right after the third book and I have so much to say with no way of truly putting it down。 The whole multiverse plot line (?) is so insane and beautifully written。 This connected me to the characters so much more than I thought it would。 Maybe this is the two year obsession with Bungo Stray Dogs talking, but this little spinoff series means the whole world to me。 The characters brought up in a vaguely familiar light but taught by lessons no character in the original universe understands the burden of is such a wonderful way of contributing to any universe under this umbrella。 AND FROM A SPINOFF SERIES??So, so, SO obsessed with the art style and character design。 They paralleled the original series in such an interesting way and further added onto symbolism that I find incredibly important to the characters。I’m speaking nonsense at this point, but I’m so glad I read this series and I would give the world to read it for the first time again。 。。。more

When Dazai is explaining the book he mentions how any possible reality is available and the many different dazais are shown。 Could it be possible that if Dazai has already come into contact with the book he knows of our reality with the authors instead of characters as he didn’t always want to suicide with a woman but after he left the mafia he suddenly did。 Could it be possible that the reason dazais thoughts aren’t really expressed is because he knows multiple outcomes already。

I loved reading this series! To get the full experience you should already a a fan of the Bungo universe, otherwise a lot of the impactful moments that relate back to the original story will be missed。 The art style is BEAUTIFUL omg and I teared up at ~certain parts~ (let’s not discuss it hurts too much)

I am obsessed with this art style。I was NOT expecting the story to break the fourth wall like it did。 That was so cool。 Dazai’s speech at the end, him wanting to save the world because Oda was alive killed me 🥺And the last two pages??? How it connected to the og world except it’s Akutagawa instead of Atsushi???? It gave me CHILLS。 Such a good way to connect everything。An amazing story。 If you like Bungo Stray Dogs, this is a must read

Did I know I would sob? Yes。Beast, for a short and brutal story, still makes me realize just how much this series touches on what makes us human。 What makes us want to live。 Each page was one gut punch after the other and I loved it。

That was an interesting one。 I can't say I fully understood the ending, especially as it heavily implied an actual connection of this world and the main series and essentially confirmed parallel universes through the book。 Dazai's choices also never made much sense to me, but seeing where Akutagawa ended up and how he resolved himself was definitely interesting, and his battles with Atsushi were pretty great to read as well。 That was an interesting one。 I can't say I fully understood the ending, especially as it heavily implied an actual connection of this world and the main series and essentially confirmed parallel universes through the book。 Dazai's choices also never made much sense to me, but seeing where Akutagawa ended up and how he resolved himself was definitely interesting, and his battles with Atsushi were pretty great to read as well。 。。。more
